Indications

Alclor Suspension 125 mg/5 ml is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate infections caused by susceptible organisms, including:

• Upper respiratory tract infections

• Lower respiratory tract infections such as bronchitis and pneumonia

• Acute otitis media

• Pharyngitis and tonsillitis

• Skin and soft tissue infections

• Urinary tract infections

Antibiotic therapy should be guided by culture and sensitivity testing whenever possible.

Pharmacology

Cefaclor exerts its antibacterial activity by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis.
