Fapdol Tablet is a combination analgesic containing Paracetamol 325 mg and Tramadol Hydrochloride 37.5 mg. It is used for the management of moderate to moderately severe pain when pain cannot be adequately controlled with simple analgesics alone. This combination provides dual action pain relief by acting on both central and peripheral pain pathways.

It is commonly prescribed for musculoskeletal pain, postoperative pain, injury-related pain, and other painful conditions under medical supervision.

Therapeutic Uses

Fapdol Tablet is indicated for:

• Moderate to severe pain
• Postoperative pain
• Musculoskeletal pain (back pain, joint pain)
• Injury or trauma-related pain
• Dental pain
• Pain associated with chronic conditions when stronger analgesia is required

Mechanism of Action

• Paracetamol: Reduces pain and fever by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system
• Tramadol Hydrochloride: Acts on the central nervous system by binding to opioid receptors and inhibiting reuptake of serotonin and norepinephrine, thereby reducing pain perception

Together, they provide synergistic analgesic effects for better pain control.

Dosage & Administration

• Usual dose: 1 tablet every 6–8 hours as needed or as prescribed by a physician
• Maximum dose should not exceed the physician’s recommendation
• Swallow whole with water
• May be taken with or without food
• Use for the shortest duration necessary for pain control
• Avoid sudden discontinuation after prolonged use without medical advice

Side Effects

• Nausea and vomiting
