Each 5 ml contains:
Tobramycin 300 mg
Intobac 300 mg/5 ml is indicated for the treatment of:
External bacterial infections of the eye, such as conjunctivitis
Infections of the ocular adnexa, including eyelid and periocular infections
Treatment should be accompanied by monitoring to ensure bacterial susceptibility and therapeutic response.
Intobac 300 mg/5 ml is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis. It binds to the 30S and 50S ribosomal subunits, leading to defective bacterial cell membranes and bacterial death. Its localized action provides effective treatment for external ocular infections with minimal systemic absorption.
Eye Drops:
Mild to moderate infections: 1 drop into the affected eye(s) every 4 hours
Severe infections: 1 drop hourly until improvement, then taper dosage before discontinuation

Severe infections: Apply thinly 3–4 times per day until improvement, then taper dosage
Proper hygiene and adherence to dosing schedules are essential for effective treatment.
