Composition

Mechanism of Action

This combination works through two complementary mechanisms:

Loteprednol Etabonate:

Tobramycin:

• Binds to bacterial ribosomes and inhibits protein synthesis
• Kills susceptible gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria

Indications

Lotenol T Suspension is indicated for:

• Steroid-responsive inflammatory eye conditions with bacterial infection

• Blepharitis with inflammatory and infectious components
• Mixed inflammatory and bacterial ocular conditions

Dosage and Administration

• Use only as directed by an ophthalmologist
• Shake well before use (suspension form)
• Instill 1–2 drops into the affected eye(s) as prescribed
• Usually applied 2–4 times daily depending on severity
• Avoid touching dropper tip to any surface
• Remove contact lenses before use and wait at least 15 minutes before reinsertion
• Complete full prescribed course
