Momet-F Inhaler (50 mcg+5 mcg)/puff is a combination inhalation therapy formulated to provide effective long-term control of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It contains Mometasone Furoate 50 mcg, a potent inhaled corticosteroid (ICS), and Formoterol Fumarate 5 mcg, a long-acting beta2-agonist (LABA).
This lower-strength formulation is particularly suitable for patients who require maintenance therapy with a moderate corticosteroid dose, helping to control airway inflammation while ensuring sustained bronchodilation. The dual-action mechanism helps reduce asthma symptoms, improve breathing, and minimize the risk of exacerbations when used regularly as prescribed.

Momet-F Inhaler (50 mcg+5 mcg)/puff is indicated for:
Maintenance treatment of asthma in adults and adolescents
Patients not adequately controlled with inhaled corticosteroid therapy alone
Prevention of asthma symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and persistent cough
Maintenance management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
It is not intended for the relief of acute bronchospasm or sudden asthma attacks.
Mometasone Furoate (50 mcg):
Reduces airway inflammation
Decreases swelling and mucus production in the bronchial passages
Improves long-term airway responsiveness
Lowers the frequency of asthma flare-ups
Formoterol Fumarate (5 mcg):
Stimulates beta2-adrenergic receptors in bronchial smooth muscle
Produces rapid bronchodilation within minutes
Maintains airway relaxation for up to 12 hours
Improves airflow and reduces breathlessness
The combination provides both anti-inflammatory control and sustained bronchodilator action, addressing the core mechanisms of asthma and COPD.
Use strictly as prescribed by a healthcare professional
Typically 1–2 puffs twice daily, depending on disease severity
Shake the inhaler well before each use
Inhale deeply while pressing the canister
Hold breath for about 10 seconds after inhalation
Rinse mouth thoroughly after use to reduce the risk of oral fungal infection
Do not exceed the recommended dose and do not use as a rescue inhaler.
