Tearon Eye Drop 0.4% + 0.3% is a sterile ophthalmic lubricant formulated with Polyethylene Glycol 0.4% and Propylene Glycol 0.3%. It is specially designed to provide effective and long-lasting relief from the symptoms of dry eye syndrome. Pharmacology

Polyethylene Glycol and Propylene Glycol act synergistically to lubricate and hydrate the ocular surface. These polymers help stabilize the tear film by forming a protective, moisture-retaining layer over the cornea and conjunctiva. This reduces tear evaporation and improves tear film integrity, thereby relieving dryness and irritation.
Tearon Eye Drop mimics natural tears and provides a soothing effect without interfering with vision, making it suitable for frequent use as recommended.

Indications

Tearon Eye Drop 0.4% + 0.3% is indicated for:

• Dry eye syndrome (keratoconjunctivitis sicca)

• Temporary relief from burning, irritation, and discomfort due to dryness

• Eye discomfort caused by prolonged screen use, air conditioning, wind, smoke, or dust

• Dryness associated with contact lens wear, as advised by an eye care professional

Dosage and Administration

• Instill one or two drops into the affected eye(s) as needed or as directed by a physician.

• The frequency of use depends on the severity of symptoms.

• For ophthalmic use only.

• Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface to prevent contamination.

Contraindications

• Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation.

Warnings and Precautions

• Do not use the solution if it changes color or becomes cloudy.

• Temporary blurred vision may occur immediately after application; avoid driving or operating machinery until vision clears.

• Remove contact lenses before instillation and reinsert them after at least 15 minutes, unless otherwise directed.

• Discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional if eye pain, vision changes, or persistent irritation occurs.

Side Effects

Tearon Eye Drop is generally well tolerated. However, some patients may experience:

• Mild eye irritation or stinging

• Temporary blurred vision

• Redness or watering of the eyes

These effects are usually mild and transient.

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

• Tearon Eye Drop can be used during pregnancy and lactation if clearly needed and recommended by a physician, as systemic absorption is minimal.
