Nervalin Capsule 75 mg contains Pregabalin, a well-established antiepileptic and neuropathic pain–relieving medicine. It is widely prescribed for the management of nerve-related pain disorders and as an adjunctive therapy for certain types of seizures. Nervalin 75 mg is designed to provide effective symptom control while maintaining good tolerability when used according to medical advice.

Nervalin Capsule 75 mg is indicated for the treatment of the following conditions:
Neuropathic pain associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN)
Post-herpetic neuralgia (PHN) following herpes zoster infection
Adjunctive therapy for partial-onset seizures in adults and pediatric patients aged one month and above
Fibromyalgia
Neuropathic pain associated with spinal cord injury
Pregabalin, the active ingredient of Nervalin 75 mg, is a structural analogue of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). Despite this similarity, it does not directly bind to GABAA, GABAB, or benzodiazepine receptors. Instead, Pregabalin binds selectively and with high affinity to the alpha-2-delta subunit of voltage-gated calcium channels in the central nervous system. This action reduces calcium influx into presynaptic nerve terminals, thereby decreasing the release of excitatory neurotransmitters such as glutamate, norepinephrine, and substance P. As a result, Nervalin 75 mg helps reduce neuropathic pain and control seizure activity. Pregabalin is rapidly absorbed after oral administration and is excreted largely unchanged by the kidneys.
The dosage of Nervalin Capsule 75 mg should be individualized based on the patient’s condition, renal function, and response to therapy.
Neuropathic pain and post-herpetic neuralgia: Treatment usually starts at 150 mg per day in divided doses and may be increased up to 300–600 mg per day as needed.
Adjunctive therapy for partial-onset seizures: Initial dose is generally 150 mg per day, which may be increased gradually to a maximum of 600 mg per day.
Fibromyalgia: Recommended dose ranges from 300 to 450 mg per day.
Neuropathic pain due to spinal cord injury: Dose range is typically 150 to 600 mg per day.
Nervalin 75 mg capsules may be taken with or without food. Dose adjustment is required in patients with renal impairment.

Nervalin Capsule 75 mg is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Pregabalin or any of the capsule components.
Common side effects include dizziness, somnolence, dry mouth, blurred vision, peripheral edema, weight gain, and difficulty with concentration. Most adverse effects are mild to moderate and tend to decrease with continued use.
Nervalin 75 mg is classified as Pregnancy Category C. It should be used during pregnancy only if the potential benefit outweighs the possible risk to the fetus. Pregabalin may be excreted in breast milk; therefore, caution is advised when administered to nursing mothers.
Caution is advised in patients with renal impairment, heart failure, or a history of substance misuse. Abrupt discontinuation should be avoided; the dose should be tapered gradually to reduce the risk of withdrawal symptoms or increased seizure frequency.
Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
