Indications

Ursotab Tablet is indicated for:

• Cholesterol gallstones in a functioning gallbladder
• Primary biliary cholangitis (PBC)
• Intrahepatic cholestasis and bile flow disorders
• Fatty liver disease (as supportive therapy)
• Cholestatic liver conditions
• Intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (under medical supervision)

Mechanism of Action

Ursodeoxycholic Acid works through multiple hepatoprotective mechanisms:

• Reduces intestinal absorption and hepatic secretion of cholesterol
• Promotes dissolution of cholesterol-rich gallstones
